Adeyemi was arguably the man of the match, earning high praise for his goal and his overall impact. Players like Julian Ryerson also drew positive remarks for his assist and his contribution on the flank. Wolfsburg, by contrast, were praised for their organization but criticized for lack of cutting edge.
