Lecce vs Milan

Lecce, however, deserve credit for their resilience. They stayed in the contest for most of the evening, created a couple of half-chances, and made Milan work hard for their goals. Yet in the final third, the difference in quality was clear—while Milan’s big names took their chances, Lecce lacked the sharpness to truly trouble Mike Maignan. The home crowd, though disappointed, witnessed a performance full of effort and organization from their team.

For Allegri and his players, this result was more than three points—it was a confidence booster after a turbulent start to the season. Milan now sit on three points after two rounds and can look ahead with more optimism, while Lecce remain winless with one point to their name. The match may not have been a spectacle of free-flowing football, but it was a reminder that in Serie A, resilience, timing, and the ability to seize the moment can make all the difference.
